Student Works

Congratulations to those of you curious enough to click this link, although I can promise you won't find anything overwhelmingly impressive here. I have been editing since I was 16 years old, and while my projects may have been created with little to no talent on top of only having access to Windows Movie Maker in the beginning, they were a stepping stone to the professional work I do today. We all start somewhere, after all!

So if you'd like a laugh, check out some of my earliest video projects!

In my earliest editing days, I began making "fan videos" - fun projects made using a favorite or fitting song used with a specific movie/TV series. This is the one I'm proudest of. Enjoy!

Movie: Dead Poets Society
Music: "A Kind of Magic" by Queen

One of my first attempts at conveying deep emotion through editing. Technology was not sophisticated, but neither was my prowess!

Movies: Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets & Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Music: "This Used to be My Playground" by Madonna

2003 was the year to be enamored with Wicked, so there was really no way a nerdy girl could keep the two interests from merging.

Movies: Harry Potter and The Sorcerer's Stone, Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets & Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Music: "What is This Feeling?" from the original cast recording from the musical Wicked.
